Golf Lessons & Golf Instruction
PGA Golf Lessons & Instruction provided by Jim Kardash & John Miller
Our Golf Instruction Programs are a well-structured, highly comprehensive program geared to long-term improvement and lowering your golf score.
Improvement takes three steps: instruction, efficient practice, and properly fit equipment.
- Instruction provides knowledge and helps to create more effective movement patterns
- Practice reinforces what was learned and assists the golfer in creating a more automatic stroke/swing with less conscious thought
- Properly-fit equipment will reward your good swings, increase your enjoyment of the game, and free you from making compensations in your set up and/or swing to offset the ill effects of equipment that is incompatible with your body or golf swing.
The Golf Instruction Programs are built around these concepts and provides the foundation for our individual and group instruction. Whether you receive one-on-one instruction, semi-private lessons with relatives, friends, or coworkers or enroll in one of our popular Small Group, or Women’s Clinics, supervised practice is an integral part of your program. Additionally, rest assured that your instructor will review your equipment with you and make sure your club length, lie, lofts, grip size, shaft flex, overall weight, and set make up are right for you.
Each instructor has a supervised practice schedule – a copy of which can be obtained in the pro shop. First, find the days and times your instructor holds supervised practice, show up for all or any part of that time, purchase any size bucket of range balls, find an open practice mat, and your instructor will check in on you. While this is entirely optional, it is HIGHLY recommended for the reasons cited above.
If you do not yet have golf clubs, no problem – please DO NOT run out and buy them before your instructor can evaluate your swing! We will supply clubs for lessons or clinics, if needed, and will be happy to help you explore your options when you are ready to invest in clubs.
